E.I.S. Christmas Concert
Adam Assou, Year 12
Tuesday evening, 11th December 2018, The English International School had their end of the year performance. Jolly tunes were sung by Lower and Upper School, while Middle School opted to perform a humorous sketch. All the acts combined created a rich environment of love and joy for the audience and the E.I.S. community. At the closing of the concert, Upper School students, Adam Assou and Andrea Melissa El Hajj had a few words to say. Adam highlighted the dedication the students had in perfecting their craft, as well as the importance of love and joy, which he said should be our number one priority “always and forever.’’ Andrea reinforced the true meaning of Christmas, which should not be solely focused on gifts, but rather on unity and gratitude.
Andrea Melissa El Hajj, Year 12
It was a show full of joy and merriness, and one that made us all feel the Christmas spirit. From the moment you climbed up those stairs till the moment you left, you felt the magic. It’s Christmas! The sparkling tree, the luminous background of the stage, the fake snow and last but not least, the wonderful smiles and excitement of the children… The atmosphere was vivid and even more miraculous. You could feel the pixie dust spin round you, making your eyes sparkle and taking you to another world – A world full of fantasy… A world full of charm. It was just amazing. The audience were flown out of their seats and taken on a trip with the presenters. The singing lit up the stage and the Christmas spirit was revived.
