Local Consumption Month
As October is celebrated as “Le Mois du Consommons Local” (Local Consumption Month), on Tuesday, 13th October 2026, year 3 children went on a field trip to Omani’s Bakery to discover and promote locally made snacks and sweets.
It was an enjoyable and educational experience that encouraged our young learners to appreciate local products and support local businesses.
Djidemi
On Tuesday, we went on a field trip to Omani’s Bakery. The bakery was small and cozy. We tasted gluten-free snacks. We learned about rice flour and fonio seeds. We also ate ice cream made with rice milk, without sugar, eggs or milk. We enjoyed the visit and we wish to go there again for longer time.
