Our teams of debaters at the American Cultural Centre
On Wednesday, 19th November 2014, our Lower, Middle and Upper Schools sent teams of debaters to the American Cultural Centre to take part in the Interschool Debate Contest. Each team successfully debated the following, respectively:
Every school should have afterschool activities, such as sports teams. (Against)
Governments should provide free healthcare to all citizens. (For)
The costs of a university education outweigh the benefits. (Against)
We heartily congratulate our debaters, as all teams will go on to the semi-finals, to be held in January 2015.
