Pupils in the Science and Technology Fun Club

We used

  • Transparent plastic bottle
  • Vinegar
  • Plastic glove
  • Bicarbonate of soda
  • Teaspoon

This is what we did

  • We added a little vinegar to the transparent plastic bottle
  • We filled one finger of a plastic glove with a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
  • We carefully stretch the glove over the top of the plastic bottle.
  • Lastly we lifted the finger of the glove and added the bicarbonate of soda.

We watched the glove become puffy and puffy!

We received a visit from the Globe Theatre of London Touring Company

Thursday, 12th March will for long be remembered by the students of the Lower and Middle Schools.

Years 6, 7, 8 and 9 were honoured last term with an invitation from the Venezuelan Ambassador, His Excellence Alejandro Israel Correa Ortega.

Our Capoeira after-school activity group celebrated their term’s accomplishments.
