The racquet skills of E.I.S.

The 5th edition of the International Juniors of Badminton of Benin had its epilogue last Tuesday, September 13 with at the end a beautiful harvest for the Beninese badminton players.

Eleven medals were the result of Benin's participation in the Junior Badminton International which took place on 12th and 13th September at the gymnasium of the Regional Institute of Public Health in Ouidah. After two days of competition, the young Beninese players were able to lift Benin to second place with 11 medals, just behind Egypt.

Peemann Kaur, E.I.S. student of Year 13, contributed to Benin's tally, bringing home a Silver medal, alongside her partner Anna Akakpo Gladys, in the women's doubles category. Opposed in the final to an Egyptian doublet, Peemann and her partner battled out a gruelling last set against their opponents.
Benin therefore finished second in the women's doubles category at these Junior Badminton Internationals.
