Trip we had to Ganvie

Adaeze Okenedum, Year 9

I loved the trip we had to Ganvie; it was amazing! It was so cool how people lived on Lake Nokoue and how they used boats instead of cars to get around. I took this photo because I liked the way the canoes were lined up with the beauty of nature around.

Adetola Gaba, Year 9

At Ganvie I never knew they had abilities to do handstands. I took this picture because the little boy did a handstand on the boat fearlessly. I thought he would fall, but instead he was firm on the boat’s edge.

Neyna Orji, Year 9

I found out many things on our trip to Ganvie. I took this picture because I loved the way it let us know how they transported food to market there.

Marc-Alain Adjahi, Year 8

I took this photograph because there was a nice background. With the man in the small boat, the scene looked peaceful.

Cyrian Kedowide, Year 9

Our trip to Ganvie was magnificent! It taught us more about the world of history and the world we live in. I took this photo because it shows how the people of Ganvie lived in houses on stilts. I feel so proud to have won first place in the photography competition.
