Uriel Gansou's experience at Oxford Royale Academy
I was awarded a place to study with Oxford Royale Academy on a full scholarship and it was an amazing experience for me. The summer school took place in the Yarnton Manor area of Oxford, U.K. The time I spent in Yarnton Manor was full of experiences. Everything went well and I was able to meet people from different countries. I really felt comfortable throughout the summer school. I always had something to do and all the activities I attended were interesting and enriching. From Monday till Friday I attended my classes in engineering. The time that was established for lessons was reasonable. On weekends we were free to do what we liked.
Even though we were living far from the city, we had the opportunity to explore Oxford and have fun at least three times a week. After our lessons we could choose different physical and artistic activities. I always had fun playing with others and getting to know my peers. This experience enabled me to be more responsible and I was able to learn what I should be expecting in university. Everything I needed to know to apply for university was also taught to me.
I really liked engineering, but I never really knew in which field of engineering I wanted to engage. The lessons I attended helped me to have a clear idea of what I want to become. I was able to know which field of engineering will be more suitable for me, about which I was really thankful. Apart from that, I was able to visit London, which is a very beautiful city. It was a pleasure for me to attend the Oxford Royale Academy summer school and it is an experience that I would love to repeat.
