Dear Parents,

As we look ahead to completing half of our second term at school, I would also like to remind you of my availability to meet with parents, should any questions or concerns arise. If you wish to meet, kindly call the school secretary to arrange an appointment. The teachers and I welcome your input and feedback and we count on your collaboration to maintain a healthy and productive learning environment for our children.

Please note the following information and reminders:

Valentine’s Day - 14th February

Decorations and fun activities are in the making in various classes to mark the day in school. In line with our tradition, children are permitted to come to school dressed in colours of red, white and pink.

Half-term Holiday

The half-term holiday this year will start on Thursday, 16th February and continue through the weekend. Classes will resume on Monday, 20th February.

Water

We will soon enter what has been known as the hottest, most humid season in Cotonou, which is the period that precedes the main rainy season. Teachers discuss with children the importance of drinking sufficient water to keep hydrated. Please make sure that your child comes to school with a large flask filled with water to keep hydrated during playtimes. Water is available in school buildings to supplement that which children bring to school in their flasks / water bottles.
