Welcome to the English International School
The English International School is a co-educational day school providing an international education for children from the age of two until university admission age.
The school has four departments:
• Pre-school - ages two and three
• Lower School - ages four to nine
• Middle School - ages ten to thirteen
• Upper School - ages fourteen to eighteen
Good behaviour and responsible citizenship are central to the operation of the school which was established on the principle of reciprocity. Students are expected to show care and consideration towards others, and to observe the codes of behaviour laid down by the school. The mission statement further outlines the aims of the school.
Educational achievement is of great importance to the school. The school is a member of the Cambridge International Primary Programme and the Cambridge Seconday programme. In Year Eleven students are prepared for and are entered for the University of Cambridge International Examinations, IGCSE, In Year Thirteen students are able to enter for Cambridge Board “A” level examinations.
Students’ progress is monitored internally by the teachers and externally through public examinations set by the University of Cambridge International Examinations. It is our aim to provide a seamless education for children from the age of two until they enter university at the age of eighteen.
The timetable includes: art, music, dance, drama, sports and extra curricular activities.
