We also welcome back Mrs. Simran Gajwani – Year 6 Class teacher and Mrs. Nicole Kamenga – Year 7 Class teacher
Please review the calendar for this school year, and note the following information:
After-School Activities will begin next week. A variety of physical, arts and enrichment activities are on offer this term. For further details, please visit our school website.
New Parents’ Conferences and Information Evening – Friday, 4thOctober, 16:00 – 18:00 in the various school buildings.
Prior to the date, new parents will receive invitations to select appointment times for this day. The evening is scheduled for discussion of your child’s early progress with teachers. Teachers will also display curriculum materials and answer questions about classroom routines, expectations and goals. If teachers find it necessary to discuss academic or behavioural issues of students who have returned to school, they will send out letters to schedule meetings with those parents on this evening.
We appreciate your consideration of teachers’ busy work schedules and the necessity for them to remain attentive to pupils’ needs during school hours. You may seek assistance from the school secretary to make appointments with them if queries should arise outside of scheduled conference times. We thank you for your cooperation in making sure that the telephone numbers which you have given to school are working numbers, should we need to contact you in the event of an emergency.
During this period of road work and paving of roads, we are committed to following the instructions of SOGEA-SATOM in order to maintain safety and efficiency. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.
Thank you for your cooperation.
