English International School Newsletter of the 24th January 2022

Dear Parents,

Today marks the fourth International Day of Education. The 2022 theme, proclaimed by UNESCO is Changing Course, Transforming Education, given the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic has led to a revival in education in various ways. As we watch our ‘COVID-19 generation’ at EIS set off for universities, we focus on how they and their younger peers have become more resilient as we seek ways to strengthen creativity and innovation in our teaching and learning.

Please note the following information and reminders:

International Day – Friday, 28th January

We will celebrate our school’s cultures and traditions on this day as an internal event between classes, as was done last year.  Teachers have organised the events to take place at certain points of the day as they pertain to their groups.

School Uniform and Sports Kit

Please remind your children to be prepared for school and sports lessons with the appropriate uniform and kit.  The correct attire for games and tennis lessons is as follows: White t-shirt (without designs or writing), black shorts and sports shoes.
