As we are in our last month of the school year, I would like to call your attention to the following events and information:

Cambridge IGCSE and AS-level examinations will end on 8th June. Cambridge releases the results of these examinations in August. The results of the internally monitored Cambridge Progression Tests for years 3 – 5 and 7 - 8 in English, Mathematics and Science will be discussed at Child Progress Conferences on 23rd June.
To accommodate our school’s increase in enrolment and also provide ready space for performances and workshops, building work will begin on the rooftop of the current Years 12 and 13 building after the end of exam period. Dance and after-school capoeira classes will continue to be held in the Lower School building throughout the month of June.

Last Day of Term / Prize Giving – Friday, 30th June, Institut Français Paillote
The 30th of June is the official last day of school. We end on this day with a farewell ceremony (from 10:00 – 11:30), during which we reflect on the academic year and award prizes. I would like to ask parents to kindly inform teachers if, for certain reasons, they will need to travel before the final day.
The school calendar for Academic Year 2017 – 2018 is out and should be consulted when making travel plans. Please note that the next academic year will begin on Thursday, 14th September 2017.
Reminder:Re-inscription is necessary if you wish to guarantee a place for your child and to help us plan well for the upcoming academic year.
Thank you for your cooperation.
