We have made a fine start to the third school term, which promises to be a busy and exciting one.
Please note the following information and upcoming events for your diaries:

As you may have noticed on the website calendar, externally moderated Checkpoint Examinations for Years 6 and 9 will be held on 20th, 21st and 22nd April. Middle School teachers have informed the students of this and Mr. Armand (Examinations Officer) will go over the schedule for these days with them.
The IGCSE and AS/A-LevelExamination period will begin on 3rd May. More detailed information to Upper School students and parents will be forthcoming from the Examinations Officer.
The internally moderated CambridgeProgression Tests in English, Maths and Science will be administered on 1st, 2nd and 3rd June to Years 3 – 5 and 7 – 8.
This year, 2016, marks the 46th anniversary of Earth Day, which is celebrated world-wide. This year’s theme is: Trees for the Earth. We will observe the day in school with poetry readings, environmental activities, crafts, displays and discussion. We ask that children come into school on the day dressed in shades of green and brown, to symbolize our solidarity with environmental protection.
After-School Activities – Term 3
After-school activities will begin on Monday, 11th April. Please consult the After-school Activities section of the website, as there are some new listings for this term.
The provisional school calendar for Academic Year 2016 – 2017 is now out. You may consult the school website for next year’s information and events. Hard copies of the calendar are also available in the secretary’s office. When making travel plans, please note that the next academic year will begin on Wednesday, 14th September2016.
