As we are coming into our last month of the school year, I would like to call your attention to the following events and information:
Re-inscription for Academic Year 2016 – 2017
We are receiving new student enrolments and classes are reaching capacity. Whilst priority is given to current students, places cannot be guaranteed without the payment of a re-inscription fee to validate commitment. Updated school fees are listed on the website.
Cambridge IGCSE and A-level examinations for Years 11-13 will end on 10th June. The internally-monitored Cambridge Progression Tests for years 3, 4, 5 and 7 and 8 in English, Mathematics and Science will be administered on 1st, 2nd, 3rd June.
International Day – Friday, 10th June (School finishes at 12:00 on this day)
We will celebrate our school’s cultures and traditions on this day as an internal event. Given the unpredictability of the rains at this time, we have decided not to host an outdoor festival with parental attendance as has been done in the past. More detailed information of the day’s preparation will be forthcoming from class teachers. As usual, contributions of your country’s savoury or sweet dishes, as well as ornaments, cloth, flags, etc. are greatly appreciated.
Teachers will conduct a textbook recall on Wednesday, 15th June for inventory purposes. Upon examination of textbooks, if it is deemed that the damage is due to negligence and not normal wear and tear, a 55,000F CFA fee will be charged to cover the cost of replacement and shipping before the release of reports.
Thank you for your cooperation.
